about the discographies:
these discography lists give an overview of the overall chart performance through history of some of the more prominent artists, depicting chart positions of singles/tracks and albums, as well as awarded certifications, i.e. gold (for 12,000 singles/tracks and 10,000 albums acquired & calculated small percentage from personalised streaming) and platinum (for 25,000 singles/tracks and 20,000 albums acquired & calculated small percentage from personalised streaming). please take note that the official blue-box charts originated at the beginning of 1985, so discographies stem from what has been released since then. some earlier (pre-1985) hits would therefore be missing, even though they may have been very popular in these regions! the discographies are updated regularly, so keep a look-out for your favourites!
[note: total weeks on chart includes all weeks in top 30 (where available) ~ over all eras since 1985, which is why you'll see so many weeks for the consistent big sellers, which literally spend years and years in the top 30.]
