he super-duo of simon climie and rob fisher to this day stands as one of the definers of 80's "power-pop"!  they'd already distinguished themselves as songwriters-supreme with huge hits like the george michael/aretha franklin smash "i knew you were waiting (for me)", when they launched their own assault on the charts as performers.  short but legendary, they disbanded after a few years, though their sound has continued on records by other legends... : )
