3 no.1 albums and numerous top ten singles laura branigan had established
herself as one of the true icons of 80's pop music. she had proved
time and again that she was a magical musical force to be reckoned
with! her blend of pulsating dance rythms and beautiful balads has
left a permanent mark on the blue-box charts (even though her biggest
hits came from the pre- blue-box period... she's mostly renowned for
early classics such as "gloria", "self control",
"solitaire", "the lucky one" and "ti amo").
she sadly passed away in august 2004, but will always be remembered
as one of the true pop greats!
