"guilty pleasure" for sure.  cheesy, but wonderful!  composer dieter bohlen writes some of the worst lyrics imaginable, but gets away with it thanks to some of the most amazing, feel-good melodies... and especially thanks to vocalist thomas anders' magical, angelic voice!
it might seem easy to write them off sometimes as "a band not to be taken seriously", but then you find yourself walking down a street again one day, and you hear one of their songs coming from somewhere, and you forget about all the reasons why you shouldn't like modern talking!
