Welsh superstar Shakin' Stevens shot to international fame in 1980, and by the end of the decade had the distinction of being the "Biggest Selling Singles Artist of the 80's" in the UK.  To quote from the Guinness Book of British Hit Singles:  "Shares with the Beatles (60's) and Elton John (70's) the distinction of being the most successful UK singles chart performer of a decade."
Throughout the 80's and early 90's Stevens had 38 hit singles, 36 of which were consecutive, and in the UK alone achieved four # 1s , three # 2s, 12 Top 5 hits, 15 Top 10s, 25 Top 20s, 30 Top 30s and 32 Top 40 hits. This unprecedented success was mirrored across Europe and in many territories world-wide.
Although many of Shaky's biggest hits stem from the pre-Blue-Box days (such as "This 'Ole House", "Green Door" and "Oh Julie"), his performance on the Blue-Box charts since it's official launch has been impressive to say the least.
Since 2005 a renewed "Shaky Mania" has taken hold of parts of the world again, and it came with the exciting news of a new album and touring schedule...
