cottish
band texas (led by the pretty sharleen spiteri) shot to fame with
their steel-guitar blues-rock in the late 80's, taking first single
and album straight to number one. their next two albums continued
in this style, though with less success, which saw them re-invent
themselves as a more pop-soul style band with fourth album "white
on blonde". this proved a popular move as it saw them return
to the higher reaches of the world charts, and since then they've
continued a very consistent chart assault with some very memorable
hits!
