Man, any fan s dream! One of our favourite 80s synth-rock bands, Australia s PSEUDO ECHO, has just announced they are releasing "1990 The Lost Album demos" on June 10th!

This band had a great run in the 80s with their first two albums, and hits like "Listening" and "Funky Town", when after the less-than-stellar performance of 3rd album (1988 s "Race") they suddenly called it a day.

Band leader BRIAN CANHAM has recently confirmed the exciting news that these secret recordings (that they thought had been lost!) have been found ~ of the 4th album that never saw the light of day!

The band was really ON FIRE in those days, so I for one can t wait!!

This brilliant lyric video seems a very accurate reflection of the world we live in.... And I ended up liking the song too!

Interesting and cute new song by TOM JONES.... Nice incorporating of piano and other cute bits. Breath of fresh air from all the "modern pop" that tries to pass as "music" these days... Let the "older guard" show you how it s done....
Makes me want to revisit "Sex Bomb" and "Kiss" and the like again...

Quoting STEVE GRAND on this, because I think it s so awesome:

"I know I am late but LIL NAS X sliding down a stripper pole into Hell, giving Satan a lap-dance, before snapping Satan s neck and stealing his horns is pretty great. Sort of the ultimate comeback to a lifetime of hearing how u are going to go to Hell for being gay...
I tend to roll my eyes at things that are such blatant attempts to stir the pot. Mocking religious iconography in 2021 isn’t exactly risky... but especially after seeing how he responded to the very predictable resulting outrage, I gotta say I m feeling happy for/proud of him:

“i spent my entire teenage years hating myself because of the shit y all preached would happen to me because i was gay. so i hope u are mad, stay mad, feel the same anger you teach us to have towards ourselves” - Lil Nas X

"I don t think it could be more perfectly stated than that...
And if you are among the folks who take offense to his video, I encourage you take a moment, & in the quiet of your mind ask yourself:
Were/ are you similarly offended by the Church s stance on homosexuality and the way these religious traditions have been used to justify the persecution/torture/killing/maiming of gay people for centuries?"

And though not really my taste in music; it s powerful and well said.

Wow, one of those times you rediscover a good song, when it gets dressed up in a different jacket... this punk/rock cover works surprisingly well!
