First of all, who was this "mysterious stranger"?? .....................................................it was..... wait for it.................. ME!!!
Second, what are all these references to "guilt"? Well, since "guilt" is commonly considered "overrated" here on the Blue Islands, we thought we'd go ahead and make a CELEBRATION out of the lovely thing known as... GUILTY PLEASURES!
That's right, we've declared this "guilty pleasure week!", and with this I'm inviting EVERYBODY reading this, to post your "Guilty Pleasures Top 10" - in music - and we can have some fun comparing, sniggering, etc.
So "swallow" any "guilt", wear your heart on your sleeve, and start posting!

It is really great to see true music lovers get together to discuss the songs we "secretly" love and listen to (great idea!)... and I plead guilty to still listening regularly to more than 50% of the songs mentioned by the posters above!
Thanks to Popmaster who directed me here, and who helped me put this little video together (we had great fun!!) of my own Guilty Top Ten.
Lol, in a way it does give away our age, doesn't it? (It's no secret, I'm a 1973-baby!)

Apols for digging up an older post, but I have just dug up one of my ULTIMATE "guilty pleasure" songs, which I'd sadly overlooked at the time. (I'm getting old, I know).
Preseting a former 8-week No. 1 tune here on the Waldian shores (in fact, it was huge all over the world, if I remember correctly). Now, THOSE were the days!
(Oh, and the video is just as FABBY as I recall it to be)
