This is 'Better', the 2nd single from their current hits compilation... BEAUTIFUL... it IS better!

Well, I'm back as well after a wonderful couple of weeks away in the African wilderness (literally), as well as The Philippines (with my soon to be 'legal' other-half). This Boyzone video is amazing! We are surely living in exciting times, when clips like this and John Barrowman's are aired on national television. Sadly, it seems it will never be enough, as there will always be the likes of those who voted (or didn't/wouldn't) against Proposition 8... the ones who find themselves self-important enough to deny their fellow men the right to love. (Thanks Rohan, for posting that wonderful Keith Olbermann clip). But we seem to overlook the fact that Prop 8 is merely a concern in California (one state in the US only). Thankfully, I'm [proudly] South African, one of a few countries where same sex marriages ARE legal. I think topics like gay marriage need to be brought up more often because a lot of ignorant people (and dare I say, especially Americans) are unaware that it is happening outside their little world.

Welcome back Fonda! Glad you had a great time away. Bless South Africa for that... it's a great example they're setting! I agree - these ARE exciting times we live in!

And speaking of busy people... the PET SHOP BOYS can definitely fall into this category... here's the latest news from them: They report that recording and mixing of all tracks for the new Pet Shop Boys album are approaching completion. Neil, Chris and Brian Higgins will be approving final mixes in the next two weeks. Parlophone have suggested a provisional release date of March 23rd, 2009 (this may and probably will change!). Recent collaborations: - "I'm in love with a German film star" by SAM TAYLOR-WOOD, produced by Pet Shop Boys, is number one in this week's BBC Top 40 Dance Singles chart (compiled by The Official UK Charts Company). - The second GIRLS ALOUD single release from their new album, "Out Of Control", will be the Pet Shop Boys/Xenomania composition, "The Loving Kind". Release date is January 12th. The song was produced by Xenomania, Neil and Chris's involvement being only in the writing. - Neil Tennant has written and sung a few lines in the forthcoming Christmas single, "Joseph (Better You Than Me)", by THE KILLERS featuring ELTON JOHN and Neil Tennant. The song began as a Killers/Elton John collaboration and then Brandon Flowers asked Neil to help out with some lyrics. It will be a digital-only release in December with proceeds going to the charity Red. Neil and Chris are also working on a new ballet project... Busy!

PER GESSLE's new single 'Silly Really' is #1 in Sweden, and proves that he still has a knack for writing catchy hooks!

He's a busy man! Despite the relative silence of Roxette the last several years, Per's been releasing new solo and other projects virtually every year... though in Swedish mostly, which is what makes his new English album a bit more special...

'Party Crasher' (released next month) is his first English solo album under his own name since 1997's successful 'The World According To Gessle', which charted at #1 on Blue-Box, and delivered the pop-tastic hit 'Do You Wanna Be My Baby?'

First reviews of the album are very positive... looking forward to this one!

Boy ! Did I have fun reading and watching all these posts the past hour! I've been away on Holiday , and the first thing I did when I arrived back at my flat was visiting THE "Blue"... Never mind all the exciting news on the Message page.... I think it's time we thank the Brain behind it all for entertaining us on the blue in such a wonderful way! Thanks Rohan - you made my day (s). First on KEITH OLBERMANN. Never heard of him before, but yes , the message he gave was to say the least , POWERFUL ! As a straight Guy and Christian, I myself am not for Gay Rights/Marriages but also not against it. The one thing i have to point out is that ones religion is in fact a BIG factor, and has been over all the centuries , and I don't think it is that easy to " ignore" what you believe in, and if your believe goes against something, it's probably THE hardest thing to accept something you believe to be " wrong". I think therfore I choose to be Neutral ( the whole Black , white , GREY THING). I would rather say if you can support it, regardless of your believes, do so .....if you can't .....stay Neutral. This way you're not a threat to anyone's Rights. I have a few Gay Friends , and even if I don't "Understand " the life they've chosen , I still choose to be their friend! As keith Rightly said " what is it to you....? " Cliff Richard also said the other day he wishes people will leave other people alone, and let them live their lives the way they choose to....and this is my Sentiments as well. I wish Gay people and their rights all the best. I decide to stay Neutral /Grey , and wish everybody who are against Gay Rights would choose to do the same. "...Do Unto others...." On another note - I LOVE the pokerfae vid - and yes - that Intro is STUNNING! And just quickly on PER ! I love it - just wished Marie was present!

This video’s INTRO has to be the best intro... at least of this year…! LADY GAGA’s ‘Poker Face’ which is only now starting to do big things for her… the rest of the video is also quite good, but man… that intro!!!
