Undoubtedly their best song since 'In The Shadows'... Pop/Rock doesn't get much better than THE RASMUS's new single 'Livin' In A World Without You'... like Roxette meets Savage Garden ('I Want You') - raking up airplay in the Blue Islands faster than you could say... 'So What'? So catchy and dynamic... it's pop gems like this I live for!

I am totally, utterly and hopelessly IMPRESSED with the brand new KINGS OF LEON UK #1 single 'Sex On Fire'! This guy's... voice!!

Their brand new fourth (!) album 'Only By The Night' is being released internationally next week, and if the rest of the album is anything like SOF...!

Isn't the cover AMAZING?! I LOVE it when artists go with really good and creative covers!
I may be "late" discovering this band, but better late than never. This song is not even necessarily my typical taste, there's just something about it and the guy's voice that really hits home!

Looking forward to hearing more from them; here is the alternate (equally brilliant) cover for the new album:

The brand new BOYZONE video - 'Love You Anyway'... 10/10 to them going with an uptempo number first (and not the stereotypical ballad). I would have liked to see Stephen also singing some lines on this, but it IS quite a nice track, and Ronan does have a good voice - which comes out well here. Nice one imo.

I LOVE the trumpets at the end!
Btw - unlike Take That and NKOTB these guys don't seem to have aged at all, do they?

I was SO glad when I recently discovered this wonderful gem of a song... which is really in the process of becoming a huge international HIT!
JASON MRAZ's 'I'm Yours' - very nice video!

(And somebody said they thought he looked like Ben Affleck?! I'm happy to say I really don't see it! )

Thanks for posting! You're clearly also an "80's Child"... (meaning - we were both born in '89, right? )
I also love SO MANY of the songs on your chart.... many of them could EASILY also have made my chart...

Yeah Thanks, and I can say that many of your songs could easily have charted on Mine. But I guess , there are only SO many positions in a top 50 / 100... All the songs on your list are true classics though.
I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by some of the songs and artists in your top 50. Some of them I would never have guessed in a million years. I was equally surprised by not seeing some of the big names/songs on your list which one would expect to see there...
Therfore I am very Curious to know what your no 51 - 100 would have looked like..

Something I just HAVE to add.

Whoever said there wasn't justice in pop has to think again! (Moi?)

I've been following the Blue-Box chart for a couple of years now, and one of the times I was MOST pissed-off in my life was December 31st, 2003, when the Blue-Box year-end chart was posted. Sophie Zelmani had to bow down to The Black Eyed Peas (incidently no. 14,326 on my all-time chart) for 'Song of the Year 2003' title. (Ewwwww, I've just relived the moment). BUT, justice has finally been served, Sophie has shown her true colors and has claimed the No. 37 position on the Blue-Box all-time Top 100, while The BEPs are nowhere to be seen! Serves the Fergie-biatch & company right - YAY!

Ha ha - yeah, yeah... That was how I felt "at the time"... but tbh - I much rather listen to Sophie Zelmani now than 'Where Is The Love' by BEP... that song has just been SO overplayed...!
Btw - thanks for posting the rest of your chart, Popmaster, very interesting, and very nice!
