I think if they hadn't announced they're making a comeback, the NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK may have forever been erased from my memory... remember them?!

Well, it's true... the "old" New Kids have reunited, are making their first live performance again next month in the US, and plan to unleash a new album and tour on us this year... Take That, what have you started?!

(For Blue-Box buffs, they had some moderate success over here... the biggest were their 3 hit songs that all peaked at #4 on the chart: 'Hangin' Tough', 'Step By Step' and 'Tonight'... oh - how I loved 'Tonight'!

PS - can you tell which is which? I dare say some of them look even better older... Now what would be really exciting would be if MARKY MARK joined them this time round... (I can't really understand why I liked him... since I never really cared for rap... )

Oh Roisin... where have you been all my life?!

Just recently discovered Irish electronica singer ROISIN MURPHY (pronounced 'Rosheen')... and I'm ASTONISHED at how great her music is!

This is one of the videos - 'Let Me Know' which I'm particularly enjoying at the moment:

Nice, isn't it? Formerly part of the dance group MOLOKO, she released her second solo album - 'Overpowered' - at the tail-end of last year... and it's just FABULOUS!

I'm one (of an increasing many) who's grateful I've discovered her... welcome to my life Roisin!

I totally ADORE Roisin, and "Let Me Know" is a lovely song (I did a great dance routine to it with the kids for our 2007-Christmas Party). You should also check out her newest single (promos was sent out to radio yesterday), "You Know Me Better", which is another delicious slice of perfect pop. This should hopefully give her a Top 3 hit, as UK radio has heavily picked up on it. And of course, "Sing It Back" with Moloko was just MARVELOUS, and is still one of my Top 10 favorite songs of all time! Oh, how I lo-o-o-o-o-ove "Sing It Back"!

Yes - 'You Know Me Better' is WONDERFUL, and also looks set to have a high debut on the Blue-Box chart in the coming week... also nice remixes on the CD single... (And I remember 'Sing It Back'... it was such a big dance track! )
