What an absolutely delicious slice of pop!

The NEWS that I've been waiting for for a LONG time! JENNIFER 'The Power Of Love' RUSH has announced on her website that she's making good progress on her long-awaited new album... which finally seems set for a 2008 release! She says four songs have been completed and mixed, and four more are already written and ready to be recorded.



Among the songs she mentions one very beautiful ballad and one very uptempo dance number - which she says reminds strongly of Gloria Gaynor's 'I Will Survive'...!
She seems very energized and excited about the new release (and she's not the only one!) This will be her first new studio album in about a decade... Here's really looking forward to the return of one of the best voices to ever have graced this world!

OMG! The musical was amazing... but I'm SO looking forward to the movie adaptation of MAMMA MIA! Starring Meryl Streep and Pierce Brosnan... (combined with the music of course of ABBA... what could be better?!) it looks like it's going to be GREAT! Watch this fabulous trailer...

ERYKAH BADU is not everyone's cup of tea - I'm not even sure it's mine... but I'm enjoying her new video for the new single 'Honey'... I think the song itself gets a bit boring tbh (when trying to listen it through without the video!), but is made more interesting (in the video) when it makes a jazzy change in the 2nd half... all in all - it's an interesting experience and the video's great! (some famous classic album covers 'covered' here - Grace Jones, Beatles, etc.)
