The best remix I've heard yet of Britney's 'Piece Of Me'... the Mike Rizzo mix... almost better than the original... this would go down GREAT on the dance floor!

The song itself might range from making some people call it "one of her best yet" to some saying it's "a let-down", but whatever one thinks of the song, I think the COVER (as in picture) of KYLIE's latest single '2 Hearts' keeps sticking out - it's really one of the best I've seen in a long time!

I agree that the covers of both "2 Hearts" and "X" are two of the best I have ever seen. So incredibly striking and engaging.

I must say, I'm now "officially" getting excited about the new MADONNA album... We may not have an official title or release date yet, but all indications are it will happen very soon.

We DO have a title for the first single though: "4 Minutes To Save The World". It's apparently an R&B song, featuring Justin Timberlake and Timbaland. The video for the song will apparently be filmed in January 2008, and is to be directed by Jonas Akerlund (who is GREAT!) , and Timberlake and Timbaland are set to appear along Madonna in the new music video. (50 Cent, Duran Duran anyone?)

The lyrics of the song, such as "We've only got four minutes to save the world" and "Tick, tock", are an apparent reference to the Doomsday Clock.

As I've said, I'm now officially optimistic and excited about the new album! Bless her soul!

Sorry, but this is one album I'm NOT excited about.

"4 Minutes" proofs EXACTLY what I've been saying all along: Timbaland is just WAY over-rated! (And Justin for that matter).

I love Madonna as much as the next poof, but
ewwwww - "4 Minutes" is NOT nice... it's just a dull piece of R&B-boringness that doesn't go ANYWHERE (someone must've forgotten to write a chorus!). "Candy Shop" would have been a better choice for a single, than THIS load of...

It's been reported that MADONNA's new album will be called 'Licorice' and will be released late April 2008... it now also seems the two earlier-leaked songs 'Candy Shop' and 'The Beat Goes On' WILL be on it... I don't mean to be negative, but neither of those songs impressed me; also the fact that she's got Timberlake/Timbaland on board for this comes across as kind of "desperate" to me... and as her "following trends", as opposed to "setting trends" which is what she usually did best... hopefully time will prove me wrong and it'll still be a great album...!
Oh, she's apparently also planning on releasing a new 'greatest hits' later in the year... to celebrate her 50th birthday - that should be good!

In latest news on the UK's 'Launch' music site, a spokesperson for Madonna has apparently denied the reports that her new album would be called 'Licorice'... (phew! actually a relief for me! ) That was apparently just some DJ saying those things on his radio show... also, the release date is false, according to the spokesperson. This brings my hopes up that the aforementioned two songs might not be on the new album...!
