Been to The Cinema Again this weekend , in search for that perfect Adventure Movie , which I've eventually found in " The Golden Compass" . Being more of Kids Movie , I was a bit sceptical in the beginning , but have enjoyed it SOOOO much, I think I'll have to by it on dvd one day. Definetely much better that " Stardust and Beowolf" - for me ....the must see Adventure Flick of the year !

I've seen " BeoWulf" in the Cinema and was Quite surprised from the first scene and onwards , that this was in fact an animated Film... But SO well done, that it looked ' real' and added something visually which we haven't seen before. Most of the scenery and landscape also had an animated feel to it, which strenghtened the " adventure feel " for the Movie.

The storyline was relatively predictable , but the action , adventure and special effects satisfied , and overall made this a very enjoyable film to watch. It also ended in such a way that there may be a 2nd one in the future.

I give it a generous 7 out of 10
If there's nothing else at your local Cinema , and you feel the need.....go see BeoWulf. - Not the Movie of the Decade , but definetely satisfying..

As expected, "And No Matches" is ANOTHER massive chart-hit for the Scooter boys in Germany!

Actually, they should try another comeback in the UK with this one (and with 'The Question Is What Is The Question') - I think the timing would be just right, not to mention the whole "jumpstyle" thing gives it some "novelty value", and Scooter'd also be the first to do that kind of thing in the UK, wouldn't they?
I imagine they're also still doing well in Austria; are they still doing well in other countries?

They're still charting high (Top 3) in Germany, Switzerland & Austria, and TQIWITQ went Top 10 in Belgium and Top 15 in Holland. Fingers crossed that "And No Matches" can match that, or do even BETTER!

Now, I don't know what's up with the UK. According to AATW they will release "And No Matches", as well as the album, in early January (tho' both still don't appear on the release schedules); while the rather HORRIBLE Flip & Fill Remix of TQIWITQ appeared on Clubland 12, and is the ONLY version of the song avalable to download on iTunes in the UK.

Exciting news is of course not only the new MORTEN solo album to be unleashed in January (as reported earlier), but A-HA as a whole are busy with their next album... and now for the first time a possible title and date for the next A-HA album has surfaced... (unconfirmed): 'The World Is Saved' - with a planned release date of May 11, 2008...

So what else could the world need but an a-ha album to be saved?? I can't think of anything!

In all the mayhem of the usual rush of end-of-year releases, it was almost possible to forget about this gem of a new release... TINA ARENA returns with a brand new English album of cover songs (save for the last 2 self-penned tracks): 'Songs Of Love & Loss'... proving she still has an amazingly beautiful voice - what a gorgeous album!
(Thanks for the info Popmaster!)

I agree, the album is GORGEOUS. Her version of Mahogany's Theme (Do You Know Where You're Going To) is the stuff goosebumps are made of!
