Some shocking SANDRA news...!
After more than 20 years of marriage she and husband Michael Cretu are seperated and planning to divorce...! (Quite a shock as for a long time they were seen as a "model couple" in Europe)
Except for his success with ENIGMA of course, Michael was also the producer and writer of most of Sandra's hits and albums... Her latest album 'The Art Of Love' is the first that was recorded without any involvement by Michael. The whole thing also makes more sense considering she said TAOL is her "most personal" album to date, and many songs deal with darker, "relationship-related problems".
I do believe this could be a good thing though, if it could make them both happy. In a recent interview in Russia, Sandra has said she's "very happy with the decision", and she was quite "high-spirited" during the whole interview.
Well, I for one thought her last album was her best one in ages... so artistically at least this could definitely be a change for the better!
