This week sees the UK gearing up for THE most exciting chart action of the year!

Chances are really 0% for Sugababes' "About You Now" to be at the top again come Sunday.
But who will?

Here are the possibles:

Britney's "Gimme More" sees a physical CD release this week, AND she's currently at No. 3 on downloads only. Her chances ARE good, but...

Already 3 weeks at No. 1 on the airplay chart is Leona Lewis, 2006 X-Factor winner, with possibly THE best song of 2007! "Bleeding Love" is released this week on downloads and physical CD simultaneously, and it is the bookies' favorite (literally by the proverbial MILE) to be at the top on Sunday... and the next couple of weeks to come.

McFly's "The Heart Never Lies" is another song that stands a chance to be at No. 1. It's a great song, and they DO have the biggest fan-base in the UK (ALL McFly's previous No.1-hits are proof). The AWESOME video is currently at No. 1 on The Box AND on Viva.

"Rule The World" by Take That is the other favorite with the bookies to do it. Both their singles earlier this year went straight to No. 1, and this has a very good chance to do the same.

Comeback single of the year "Inconsolable" by Backstreet Boys also sees a physical release, and might just cause the great upset. Question is, do they still have enough hardcore fans to make it to No. 1?

Here's MY guess at Sunday's Top 5:
1. Leona Lewis - Bleeding Love
2. Take That - Rule The World
3. Britney Spears - Gimme More
4. McFly - The Heart Never Lies
5. Sugababes - About You Now

Other Top 10-entries can be expected from: Freemasons with 'Uninvited' (it's MASSIVE on airplay), former-Sugababe Mutya Buena's "Just A Little Bit" and the wonderful PSB/Gary Newman-inspired "Discotheque Français" by Matinée Club.

Should be quite interesting...
Although I would have liked to see Britney make #1, the Leona and Take That songs definitely deserve it more, so I hope either of them make it. My prediction for the Top 5 is exactly like yours!
(Btw - the Discotheque Francais song is very nice! )

An exciting chart week indeed in the UK... any one of the Top 5 singles would easily have made #1 in a quieter week, and this week you know even the #5 entry will be a big seller...!

The same on the Blue-Box chart this week... especially numbers 1 - 6 show impressive numbers this week, and ANY ONE of them could have been a #1 in a quieter week... such is the competition this time of year!

HOORAY! South Africa are the Rugby World Cup champions for 2007! I am ECSTATIC! They played so well (as did England, but SA was the better team). I'm really so proud of them!

Also think this comes at a very good time for South Africa (with all the negativity and crime in recent times), this can do their morale only good!

They were quite a phenomenon on the Blue-Box charts last year... and now they're back! South Africa's FRESHLYGROUND have just released their brand new album "Ma'Cheri", and here is the wonderfully colourful video for the first single "Pot Belly"!
