EUROVISION fever riding high on the 'Islands... actually like never before!
It all started a few weeks ago with Sweden's 2007 'Melodiefestivalen' event... proving once again that no-one makes music like the Swedes!
The stars of that at the moment: Mans Zelmerlow (pictured right) and Sebastian (left).

Here are the B.I. favourites from Melodiefestivalen: 1. Cara Mia - Mans Zelmerlow, 2. When The Night Comes Falling - Sebastian, 3. Samba Sambero - Anna Book, 4. The Worrying Kind - The Ark (Sweden's winner this year), 5. Move - Andreas Lundstedt, 6. Money - Elin Lanto, 7. A Little Bit Of Love - Andreas Johnson.

Now the focus is of course on the big event itself - Eurovision 2007 - to take place in Finland in May... and excitement is really brewing!

Here is the "favourites" list of the moment on the B.I.:
1. GREECE - Sarbel (pictured below): 'Yassou Maria', 2. RUSSIA - Serebro: 'Song #1', 3. NORWAY - Guri Schanke: 'Ven A Bailar Conmigo', 4. SERBIA - Marija Serifovic: 'Molitva', 5. ICELAND - Eirikur Hauksson: 'Valentine Lost', 6. SWITZERLAND - DJ Bobo: 'Vampires Are Alive', 7. SPAIN - Nash: 'I Love You Mi Vida', 8. FINLAND - Hanna Pakarinen: 'Leave Me Alone', 9. AUSTRIA - Eric Papilaya: 'Get A Life, Get Alive', 10. BELARUS - Dmitry Koldun: 'Work Your Magic', 11. MALTA - Olivia Lewis: 'Vertigo', and 12. SWEDEN - The Ark: 'The Worrying Kind'.

....and in LAST place: the UK's 'Flying The Flag For You' by Scooch... Goodness Gracious!

Sebastian & Mans are just ADORABLE!
Of this year's entries Serbia's "Molitva" is hands-down the best song in the contest for me! And, the English version (called "Destiny") is just TO-DIE-FOR. She'd recorded it in five languages for the CD-single; together with a set of dance remixes (including an awesome tribal/house-sounding mix by Sweden's Jovan Radomir).

Then there is Scooch!

... and finally the most important day of the year has arrived!

Here's my final Top 3-prediction for this year's Eurovision:

1. Serbia
2. Ukraine
3. Latvia

(It'll be a VERY close race between Serbia and Ukraine, I think).

Aah... great news! I've just read that CROWDED HOUSE have reformed, and are releasing their first new album in 15 years - "Time On Earth" - in early July this year!
(This will be their first new studio album since 1993's "Together Alone").

What a great band - looking forward to it!
