An interesting occurence of song/album titles... has anybody else noticed the preoccupation these days with titles related to the devil, a.k.a. satan, and "demons"?

Let's see - currently there's Brian McFadden's single "Demons", the Gorillaz album "Demon Days", the new White Stripes album "Get Behind Me Satan", and Billy Idol's latest album "Devil's Playground"...

On another note, at least two animal-related titles: Boris Novkovic's "Wolves Die Alone" and Black Eyed Peas' "Monkey Business". And of then of course there's the band Gorillaz...

MICHAEL JACKSON ACQUITTED OF ALL CHARGES

SANTA MARIA, Calif. - Wanly blowing kisses of gratitude to his screaming fans, Michael Jackson left court a free man Monday and went back to Neverland to pick up the pieces of his shattered career after he was cleared of all charges in his child-molestation trial.

Finally, after a LOOONG trial, this thing can be laid to rest.

Here comes 'TROUBLE'!

Question: who was the biggest selling singles artist of the 80's in the UK?
Yeah, who throughout the 80's and early 90's had 38 hit singles, and in the UK alone achieved four # 1s , three # 2s, 12 Top 5 hits, 15 Top 10s, 25 Top 20s, 30 Top 30s and 32 Top 40 hits? (Phew!)
Of course none other than... SHAKIN' STEVENS!

Now, guess who's making a comeback? Yup - you got it!

Having recently contested on the TV show "Hit Me Baby One More Time", Shaky went up against the likes of Belinda Carlisle, Haddaway, Tiffany, Carol Decker, 911, Chesney Hawkes, Hue & Cry and Shalamar, and... won!
The result has been a renewed "Shaky Mania" sweeping parts of the world, and seeing soaring sales of a new collection CD.

Part of the deal for the winner? He gets to release a new single - a "double A-side" consisting of a new cover track, and one of his biggest hits!
In Shaky's case this new single consists of "Trouble" (his rendition of the P!nk song) and one of his former #1's: "This 'Ole House", and it gets released June 13th...

As if this isn't enough good news, Shaky has revealed that a BRAND NEW ALBUM will be released towards the end of the year, as well as a concert tour!!

ANASTACIA'S "5"...

An interesting "chart statistic" this week on the Album chart... Anastacia's self-titled album lands at #15 , spends its 55th week on the chart, have spent 5 weeks at #1, and have gone 5x Platinum... A lot of "5's", huh?
