In the rush and excitement of all the year-end releases, don't forget about the brand new Celine Dion album... "1 Fille & 4 Types" - her first French album in five years! Quite an uncharacteristic cover and title - it might be possible to overlook it, but if lead single "Tout L'or Des Hommes" is anything to go by, it might be well worth checking out! (She certainly keeps busy, doesn't she? If only all our favourite artists were this frequent!)

Sugababes... such an original band! Quite a few other artists have copied them in recent history (like Girls Aloud!), but they remain the true originals! And with their great new album "Three" they prove once again that they are best at their game! Probably the best "girl band" out there at the moment - don't you agree?

>yawn!< the american billboard charts are SO boring at the moment, isn't it? ... almost ALL r&b and hip hop... (nothing against r&b/hip hop, but WHERE'S THE POP?)

A-MEN m8te!! And Beyonce is so overrated at the moment - it's so typical that "Baby Boy" is staying on top for ages now... the Billboard charts are in dire need of CHANGE!

Seems I'm the only 'girl' around here? C'mon ladies we need some support!
Anyhows, Billboard's "Hot 10" doesn't look much better this week - HOWEVER, there seems to be light at the end of this "very dark" tunnel - No Doubt & Dido (one letter away from my favorite 'toy', btw) seems to heading for the Top 10!

Also something that seems to happen on the billboard charts - not unusual for more than one song by the same artist to be released almost at the same time... which at the moment seems to be the case with Outkast and R. Kelly...

Hi Fonda, glad that we have a wonderful, gracious lady roaming the Blue Islands. You are right, I was missing a slender body diving around our oceans!!

Anyway, enjoy our blue water and music and may you have many happy returns - I certainly look forward to your next visit ! Look me up - I am the Boertjie that is always running around in my kakies and rugby socks with a Springbok Cap on!!

Cheers.

Hi folks, the Boer is still around, ok Jannie - a special word of welcome to you - dankie vir jou teenwoordigheid meneer!

It seems to me that I am the only Blue Islander into gospel, anyone out there with anything, knowledge, sites or wahtever on gospel. Right, if yoo do not enjoy gospel - anyone who likes Afrikaans music - komaan mensies, is ek die enigste ou gospel boertjie in die grote cyber woestyn!!!

Geniet die week, ek is verdrink onder die werk, maar sal probeer om so gereeld moontlik te kom asemskep op die blou eilandjies.

Cheers vir eers!

Good to see you're still around Boertjie! MIC did have a good chart run on Blue-Box - even scoring a #1 with "Runaway", but of late their music has failed to impress the Blue Island inhabitants. Artists like DC Talk and Audio Adrenaline have been very successful - and most recently Amy Grant had a very successful chart run with her "Simple Things" album reaching #1, and the single reaching #3! Michael W. Smith's latest album also recently made #2...
BTW - what is taking DC Talk so long to release something new?

What a great world the Blue Islands seems to be! The only questions is... do I need a visa or a "blue" card to visit, or even better... to stay for good! Great site! I LOVE it! HUGS XXX

Great to hear from YOU!!
One doesn't need a visa or special card to visit... just depends on if you can find it!
